Welcome to Gerubij. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Our Services

Gerubij specializes in manufacturing high-quality plastic molds for batik crafts. We provide custom design services, precision manufacturing, and global shipping to artisans and businesses worldwide.

Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Custom plastic mold design and manufacturing
  • Traditional and contemporary batik pattern molds
  • Design consultation and technical support
  • Global shipping and logistics services

2. Ordering and Payment

Order Process: Orders can be placed through our website contact form or by contacting us directly. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Pricing: All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed orders will honor the quoted price.

Payment Terms: Payment is typically required as follows:

  • 50% deposit upon order confirmation
  • 50% balance before shipping
  • Full payment required for orders under RM 500

Accepted Payment Methods: Bank transfer, credit cards, and other approved payment methods as communicated during the order process.

3. Custom Orders and Design

Custom mold orders require detailed specifications and design approval before manufacturing begins. Changes to approved designs may incur additional costs and delays.

Design Ownership: Custom designs created by Gerubij remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Customers retain rights to use the molds for their intended purpose.

Design Approval: Customers must approve final designs before manufacturing. Once approved, design changes may not be possible without additional costs.

4. Manufacturing and Delivery

Lead Times: Standard manufacturing lead times range from 2-6 weeks depending on complexity and order volume. Custom orders may require additional time.

Shipping: We ship globally using reliable courier services. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination and will be communicated during the order process.

Risk of Loss: Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

Delivery Issues: Customers must inspect products immediately upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancies within 48 hours.

5. Product Quality and Warranties

Quality Assurance: All products undergo quality testing before shipping. We guarantee that products will meet agreed specifications and be free from manufacturing defects.

Limited Warranty: We provide a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use conditions. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear, or modifications.

Warranty Claims: Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period with supporting documentation and photos.

6. Returns and Cancellations

Custom Orders: Custom-manufactured products cannot be returned unless they fail to meet agreed specifications or have manufacturing defects.

Standard Products: Standard products may be returned within 30 days of delivery in unused condition, subject to a restocking fee.

Order Cancellation: Orders may be cancelled before manufacturing begins. Cancellation after manufacturing starts may incur charges for work completed.

Refund Process: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains the property of Gerubij or our licensors.

Customers may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without written permission.

Traditional batik patterns used in our molds are part of cultural heritage and are used respectfully to preserve and promote traditional crafts.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gerubij's liability is limited to the value of the products purchased. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

This limitation applies to all claims, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. User Conduct

When using our website or services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Use our services only for lawful purposes
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Not attempt to disrupt or harm our website or services
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We comply with applicable data protection laws, including Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved through the courts of Sabah, Malaysia.

We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any issues before pursuing legal action.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

For significant changes, we will provide reasonable notice to existing customers.
